ChatGPT Business is OpenAI's plan for teams. OpenAI's pricing page says it is available from two users, priced per user a month on monthly or annual billing⁠1ChatGPT pricingOpenAI.

Best for: Teams that want the ChatGPT assistant for every employee, with connectors to their tools and admin controls.

Not the right fit for: Businesses that need published per-user prices before a purchase decision, or AI that runs a process on its own records.

What ChatGPT Business does

The plan connects ChatGPT to the tools a team already uses, and ChatGPT Work can gather context, make a plan and complete a task. Codex works across a codebase for teams that build software. Admins manage users, usage, billing, permissions, security and spend in one place, with SSO and multi-factor authentication. OpenAI states that business data is never used to train its models. SCIM, role-based access and data residency require Enterprise⁠2ChatGPT BusinessOpenAI.

The public pages we could read did not show Business prices, so we leave them out rather than repeat figures we could not check. OpenAI's pricing page does state that content on its individual plans is used to train models unless the user opts out, which is a reason to keep business data on a business plan⁠1ChatGPT pricingOpenAI.

Strengths

• Connects to common team tools and can plan and complete multi-step tasks.
• SSO, multi-factor authentication and central administration.
• Business data is not used to train models.

Limits

• The public pages we could read did not show Business prices.
• SCIM, role-based access and data residency need Enterprise.
• Like other assistants, it works when someone directs it rather than running a process on its own.

Choose another option if: You need a published price per seat now (Claude Team or Copilot Business), or AI teammates that take on calls and back-office work (OpenLazarus).
